Rolling Prairie - Southern Minnesota A.B.A.T.E Chapter
Each summer, the Rolling Prairie Chapter  delivers “Buddy Bears” to Fire, Ambulance, and Emergency Departments in the communitues of St. James, La Salle, New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Odin, Trimont, Sherburn, Ceyon, Welcome, Lewisville, Granada and Truman.  The bears are given to youngsters and elderly when they have the misfortune of having to take an ambulance ride. The stuffed bears are a security blanket to the young kids, for whom their ride in an ambulance is often a first time event and sometimes a very traumatic and serious one.  This is a yearly event for Rolling Prairie and other chapters through out the state.
